 Bring needle up from bottom of head right next to corner of eye, move needle 
across to the other side of the eye (slanting downward just a little).

Reinsert needle go back down through bottom of head, 
tug slightly to indent eye. repeat other side, secure yarn at bottom of head

 

Give your owl eyelashes. Insert thread tapestry needle under beak where stitches won't be seen and secure. Bring needle up through head, out as close to inside corner of right eye as possible. 

Bring fun fur over across to other side of eye. 

Insert needle as close to outside edge and under eyelid as possible, bring needle back down 

under beak, pull slight to secure stitches, add a tiny tacking stitch and repeat process for the other eye
